Interesting one this, I found this link on this here site.  Over there somewhere ---> is a small Google Ad block.  It helps to make sure the site is indexed by Google and there is the vain hope that a few click throughs will result in some pennies to offset the hosting cost of the site.  One day I saw something saying 'Hotrod and Classics', so I clicked on it, this is the site it was advertising, The NY Times Collectable Cars section.  Its a wide and interesting selection of well written articles about all sorts of cars.  Top notch.

You know they say you should never judge a book by its cover?  Well never judge a car site by its design.  This site for Virginia International Raceway's history is a case in point.  Its not much to look at intitially but a trawl through its links will reveal a plethora of great photographs and will no doubt add your "places to visit" list.  Make sure you take the time to check this out.

To Australia now.  Feature Cars Australia does what it says on the tin and catalogues Australian feature cars.  Not all the cars fall under the "retro" banner, but that shouldn't stop you from checking them out and picking up some inspiration and admiring the quality photography.  There is also a selection of show and event photos to check out as well as the coverage of the mighty Summernats.

A couple of our book recommendations have revolved around cars in barns, we love the idea of people finding wrecks and even better perfectly preserved cars in unusual places.  This site is simply a selection of photographs of the automotive relics, with an American leaning.
