Wow things have really started to pick up pace around here, we have a lot to cover over the next few weeks, so much so that we're having to cut out some of the things we'd have liked to cover in depth.  Instead of denying you the joy that these features might have bought this linklog will act as a condensed form.  Strap yourself in, this is going to be a whistle stop tour of awesomeness.

First up with have this excellent Flickr account, populated with former Eastern Bloc cars, Wartburg, Barkas, Trabants and the like.  There are some incredibly cool cult classics in the collection, well worth spending your time checking through all the events.

We've previously covered how great the Beardmore brothers are, well now is your chance to own a slice of their genius, John's Fiat powered Minor is for sale on ebay.  At the time of writing it has three days to go, maybe I'll have to stick a sneaky bid on, you never know it might just work.  The car is fantastically fabricated by one of the best builders in the UK, so whatever the price someone will be getting a unique, well screwed together car.

Earlier in the year we predicted Pro-Touring on non-US cars would be one of the trends this year, thinking the Europeans would take on the style for more of their rides.  Whilst this has been happening in part, it is even more interesting that the American's themselves have been applying the style to non-US cars, whilst these handful are still projects they are worth keeping an eye on.  First up is a Chevette with turbocharged Ecotec engine, secondly is this Beetle which is already heavily modified, but has a photoshop of the planned final look.  Lastly we have a Datsun pickup getting the treatment.

Finally this one doesn't have a huge amount of information, so I'll give you the link and let you run with it, Blog dos Carros Antigos is a Brazilian blog that appears to consist of period car photographs, well worth your time.

Oh yeah, a video is needed.. Check out these lunatics hillclimbing F3000 cars on closed road hillclimbs:

Keep with us through the month, we've got some cool updates for you...

Cool car at the first photo, I do like the very old cars. Especially, when they look like new.
