So earlier this week across the internet the www.retro-rides.com domain's lights flickered, then went out. It then came back as some spammy search site. Being as we are somewhat associated with the site we thought it worth giving some details on what happened.
Essentially the domain name wasn't renewed by accident for various reasons too ridiculous to go in to. So another company grabbed it. In all likely hood the company will hold on to it for a minimum of five days before deciding if they will keep it. If they don't keep it the original owners will be in a position to buy it back. If they do keep it then the retro-rides.com domain will be lost.
In the mean time http://www.retroridescommunity.com has been set up to hold the content of the previous retro-rides site and will serve as a new home should the original domain be unsalvageable.

However it works out Retro Rides will make a comeback, like Ali in the jungle...
